Metropolis | 2023 |

Scoring Metropolis was a great opportunity to allow a couple of my favourite influences to inspire me, notably The BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Benn Burtt and Pierre Henry.

Particular aspects of their work I was interested in recreating included tape-based manipulation methods of sound generation, alongside utilising modern wavetable synthesis to design sounds that would fit seamlessly with the vintage experimental sci-fi aesthetic.
